Mixpanel 1.2.4

Hi all,

A few weeks ago, I released an update to the NuGet which adds support to .NET 4 and upper 🙂
To sum-up the NuGet package now supports:

  • Windows Phone 8 and 8.1 (Silverlight),
  • Windows 8.1
  • .NET 4.0 (and upper)

Note: watch out there’s a small breaking change, all dlls are now named “Mixpanel.dll“.

The package is available on NuGet as always: https://www.nuget.org/packages/Mixpanel/

Hope this helps,

  1. Hey Carl, We are using your component which is awesome, but one thing is not working. When we want to pass an ip to mixpanel and have that do the geolocation code the url parameter needs to be ip=0 and it appears when looking inside your code that it is a private static string hard coded to ip=1. so the geolocation does not get updated correctly. will you please make it updateable? or is there a location for the source code that we may make a copy? It would be much appreciated. Best Regards Heath Morris

    1. Hi,

      I’ve just released a new version of the NuGet package in which you can disable automatic geolocation by doing this:
      MixpanelClient client = await MixpanelClient.GetCurrentClient();
      client.IsGeolocationEnabled = false;

      Hope this helps,

    1. Here’s how you can do this:
      Dictionary transactions = new Dictionary();
      transactions[“$time”] = “2013-01-03T09:00:00”;
      transactions[“$amount”] = 25.34f;
      ProfileUpdate pu = new ProfileUpdate(Token, “13793”, ProfileUpdateOperation.Append);
      pu.OperationValues[“$transactions”] = transactions;

      MixpanelClient client = MixpanelClient.GetCurrentClient();
