Mixpanel – Licensing

Since I get recurring questions regarding the package’s licensing, let me reassure you: the Mixpanel Nuget package is absolutely free, and has no licensing whatsoever. As such, this also means that the library is provided “as is”, without any warranty.

I built it because I needed it, and thought it might help others.

Cheers,

Carl

  1. Hi Carlo,

I could be wrong, but it looks like the lack of license stops us from using your awesome library.

“Generally speaking, the absence of a license means that the default copyright laws apply. This means that you retain all rights to your source code and that nobody else may reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from your work” https://help.github.com/articles/open-source-licensing/

Could you please consider adding any permissive license for commercial use (e.g. MIT) to your nuget package?

    Regards,
    Alexander

  2. Carl, we have an issue with a nuget package. Could you please add wpa81 profile to a package? Because we have universal app (8.1) and when we add dlls by our hands – everything is ok, but when Build server tries to do it – he can’t because of missing wpa81 profile.
Could you please do it? I would be very grateful.
Or if you don’t have time – we can do it by ourselves, let’s chat about it in skype or whatever.

    Thanks,
    Ihar.

    1. Hi, I’m actually surprised it’s working in WP8.1 universal as I only provide WP Silverlight dlls (WP8 and WP8.1).
You guys are using the Windows 8 WinRT version or the WP8.1 Silverlight dlls? It’s just to know which dlls you want to use for this new profile.
